Steven Lemke, CPA, CCIFP, is an Audit Partner at Grassi with over 19 years of accounting experience. He specializes in financial reporting, auditing, accounting, and tax services for clients in the Construction, Professional Services, and Real Estate industries.

Steve’s technical expertise, deep industry knowledge, and strategic insight have made him a key leader in Grassi’s Construction Practice. His role has evolved to include a wide range of business advisory services, helping clients improve financial performance, manage risk, and achieve long-term growth.

In February 2024, Steve earned his Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation, further solidifying his commitment to excellence and specialization in construction financial management.

Outside the office, Steve is a dedicated advocate for the Construction industry. He served as Chair of the NYCPA’s Construction Contractors Committee and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events. He is a trusted resource for GAAP accounting, revenue recognition, cash flow projections, and other financial matters critical to contractors and subcontractors.

Within Grassi, Steve contributes to the firm’s success through his involvement in the Audit & Accounting Committee, Construction Think Tank, and Construction Marketing and Business Development group. He is also committed to mentoring the next generation of accounting professionals, leading training programs that support their development and career advancement.

Prior to joining Grassi, Steve was a manager at a private accounting firm, where he led a team providing accounting and tax services to a diverse client base.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYCPA), and Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
