He advises individual clients on income tax planning, residency considerations, foreign reporting requirements and cross-border tax matters, including U.S. inbound and outbound issues and tax planning for equity-based compensation arrangements like compensatory stock options, restricted stock and Incentive Stock Options (ISOs).

He delivers coordinated advisory services while working with local jurisdictional advisors for international businesses, their owners and individual employees expanding into the United States. Additionally, Don has been featured in several publications and television media discussing the complexities of the “jock tax” for professional athletes. He is also a frequent speaker who has presented at New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYCPA) conferences and international business events, sharing practical insights on U.S. tax matters and cross-border considerations.
Don is a licensed CPA in New York State and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the NYCPA, where he was a past board member of the Nassau Chapter. He is a founding member of the German Business Hub NYC, a professional international advisory group that promotes and serves middle-market German and European businesses and individuals seeking to expand in the United States.
Don earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Hofstra University.
