Igor Bochenkov, CPA, MST Partner

Igor Bochenkov is a Tax Partner in the Construction practice at Grassi. He has more than 20 years of experience in helping constructions companies maximize tax savings and minimize risk through strategic tax planning, compliance and advice.

Igor specializes in advising contractors and subcontractors on industry tax credits and incentives, tax deferral strategies, accounting method selection, tax structuring, and other tax-savings opportunities. He oversees the accuracy and timeliness of the Construction team’s tax service deliverables, including the preparation and filing of returns for pass-through entities, partnerships and closely held businesses.

Prior to joining Grassi, Igor was a partner in the construction practice at a Connecticut-based public accounting firm. He also spent 10 years at a global accounting and advisory firm, providing tax services to middle market companies in the construction, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, and professional services industries.

Igor is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He volunteers his time as a board member and the chair of the Finance Committee of MARC Community Resources, a nonprofit organization.

Igor holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from Bentley University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
