Nicholas Kostopoulos, CPA Tax Principal

Nicholas Kostopoulos is a Tax Principal at Grassi with more than a decade of experience helping businesses and individuals navigate complex tax matters. He works closely with organizations across the manufacturing and distribution, real estate and technology sectors to deliver integrated compliance and advisory services that support informed decision-making and long-term growth. Nicholas also has extensive experience working with individuals and trusts, helping his clients achieve tax savings and meet their wealth preservation goals.

Before joining Grassi, Nicholas spent over eight years at CBIZ, primarily serving manufacturing and distribution clients. Beyond client work, he actively mentored and trained junior team members, supporting their professional growth and technical excellence. Nicholas has also authored several articles on key tax updates impacting business owners, most recently on how to effectively maximize the QBI deduction and state tax nexus considerations.

Nicholas has been a licensed CPA in New York State since 2020 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also on the Steering Committee for the Needlers Foundation, a nonprofit philanthropic organization with a primary goal of raising funds and bringing awareness to benefit pediatric neurosurgery and help sick and underprivileged children.

Nicholas received his master’s in accounting from Brooklyn College and his bachelor’s in communication from New York University.
