Gregory Zoraian is a Financial Services Partner at Grassi. He has over 35 years of experience in public and private accounting and specializes in fund administration, tax, business advisory and back-office support for financial services entities.

As a key member of the firm’s Financial Services practice, Greg oversees a team of professionals dedicated to serving the accounting, audit, tax and administration needs of hedge and private equity funds, funds of funds, master-feeders, investment advisors, broker-dealers, family offices, fintech entities and more. As industry specialists, he and his team pair these services with proactive advice on improving compliance processes, increasing transparency with investors, tightening internal controls and meeting the strict requirements of regulators.

Greg’s diverse background also includes accounting, tax and advisory services for middle-market and closely held businesses in the construction, retail and legal industries. His clients include supermarket chains, contractors and subcontractors, law firms and other professional services organizations.

Greg began his career at a large international accounting firm and spent several years in private industry before starting his own practice. He co-founded Sasserath & Zoraian, LLP, a Long Island-based accounting firm, in 1997. He later established and led the firm’s fund administration division, S&Z Fund Services, for over 15 years before merging the division into Grassi in 2021.

Greg is a CPA licensed in New York and a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He received his master’s degree in taxation from Seton Hall University and bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hofstra University.
