Donna McAuliffe is an Audit Director at Grassi. She brings extensive experience to the firm and works primarily with clients in Architecture & Engineering, Construction, and Real Estate industries. She utilizes her expertise to assist clients with financial reporting and implement best practices to achieve their financial and business goals.

In addition to her CPA license, Donna earned the designation of CCIFP, Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional. As a CCIFP, Donna understands the unique accounting requirements of the construction industry. She uses this expertise to advise her clients and advance the professional development of Grassi’s construction team through training and mentoring.

Before joining Grassi, Donna spent several years in the private industry as a controller for a real estate investment advisor and developer. In this role, she was responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and due diligence for potential acquisitions. Previously, Donna served as a CFO for an investment firm, where her responsibilities included financial reporting, investor relations, and human resources.

Donna is President of the Construction Financial Management Association of New Jersey (CFMA-NJ). She was a board member of the Women Builders Council of New York. To stay informed of the current issues facing our clients, Donna is active in many other industry trade associations as well, including the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ), Professional Women in Construction – New Jersey (PWC-NJ), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYCPA).

Donna earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Manhattan College.
