Grassi Adds New Trust & Estate Partner to Private Client Services Practice

Grassi, a leading provider of business advisory and accounting services for the nonprofit industry announced the launch of its annual benchmarking survey of nonprofit organizations.

The 2023 Nonprofit Leaders Survey is designed to elicit candid feedback on the trends, outlooks and greatest challenges nonprofits are facing today and provide valuable benchmarking data to help nonprofit leaders uncover the greatest areas of opportunity and growth. The findings will be revealed in an authoritative benchmarking report with analysis from Grassi’s nonprofit advisors.

A certified public accountant and accredited estate planner, Gonzalez has deep knowledge of evolving tax law and its application to individuals, trusts, estates and family offices. She has more than 25 years of experience in fiduciary tax compliance, estate planning and wealth transfer strategies.

Prior to joining Grassi, Gonzalez was a tax partner at a national accounting firm, where she specialized in trust and estate planning and compliance. She has expertise in lifetime gift planning, generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax and fiduciary, estate and gift tax filings.

Gonzalez holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). She currently sits on the NYSSCPA Estate Planning Committee.

A resident of Centerport, New York, Gonzalez is also the past president of the Board of the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County. She currently volunteers her time as Treasurer of the Board of the Moxxie Mentoring Foundation, a nonprofit based in Long Island, New York.
