Rozleen Giwani Named to Estate Planning Council of New York City Board of Directors

The Estate Planning Council of New York City is an interdisciplinary organization for professionals involved in estate planning. Since its inception in 1959, the Council’s primary objective has been to provide a better understanding of the services performed by attorneys, life underwriters, trust officers, accountants, and others substantially involved in estate planning and to promote cooperation among them.

Rozleen, a Tax Partner at Grassi, focuses on tax planning and preparation services for family offices, high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. She has spent over 18 years advising high-profile and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, CEOs, executives and entrepreneurs on achieving their full potential tax savings.

As a leader in Grassi’s Family Office practice, Rozleen leads ultra-high-net-worth families and their investment partnerships to greater tax savings. In addition to tax planning and compliance services, she advises them on structuring the family office to maximize tax benefits.

Rozleen has expertise in the real estate industry, advising real estate partnerships, investors, corporations and family-owned businesses on cost segregation reports, 1031 exchanges, industry tax credits and other tax mitigation strategies.

Rozleen is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). She was named to the NYSSCPA’s Emerging Leaders Under 40 list in 2021.
