Alice H. Varisano is a Partner in the Tax Services Practice at Grassi. She has been practicing for over 30 years and has extensive experience in domestic and international taxation, business and program analysis, budgeting, cost reduction and control, continuous process improvement and staff development. Her work extends across various industries, including construction, architecture and engineering, manufacturing and distribution, hospitality, healthcare, retail and consumer products.

Before joining Grassi, Alice spent 18 years in public accounting at Big 4 firms and six years as the CFO of a publicly traded international manufacturing and distribution company. This experience gave her the industry knowledge needed to better understand her clients’ financial issues and the ability to offer efficient tax solutions.

Alice emphasizes a client-centric service approach to build strong relationships with her clients. She works closely with her clients to help them take advantage of tax opportunities, allowing them to focus on managing their businesses with the confidence that their taxes are in capable hands. In addition to her tax work, Alice is an accomplished presenter and author.

Alice is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYCPA). She received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from St. John’s University and her Master of Science in taxation from CW Post.
