Billy Crowe is an Audit Supervisor at Grassi and specializes in auditing and reviews for all entity types, ranging from publicly traded companies to closely held and family-owned businesses.

Billy uses financial statement data to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for greater efficiency, profitability and risk management. He has helped business owners achieve financial and operational success across a variety of market sectors, including alternative finance, manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, wholesale and retail and cannabis.

Billy is very engaged both inside and outside of Grassi. He spends time with the up-and-coming staff by providing peer mentoring and staff training. He is also involved in various Long Island hunger associations and was formerly involved with the board of “Men Making Strides,” a subsection of Making Strides against Breast Cancer. Billy also received the 2023 Long Island Business News Banking and Finance Award for his excellence in service, business acumen and commitment to the Long Island community.

Before joining Grassi, Billy worked for a Big 4 accounting firm as a Senior Associate. He worked primarily in the private company services department, where he provided clients with auditing and review services.

Billy earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his master’s degree in finance from Sacred Heart University.
