Igor Bochenkov, CPA, MST Partner

Igor Bochenkov is a Tax Partner in Grassi’s Construction Practice. He has over 20 years of experience helping construction companies maximize tax savings and minimize risk through strategic tax planning, compliance, and advice.

Igor advises contractors and subcontractors on industry tax credits and incentives, tax deferral strategies, accounting method selection, tax structuring, and other tax-savings opportunities. He oversees the accuracy and timeliness of the Construction team’s tax service deliverables, including preparing and filing returns for pass-through entities, partnerships, and closely held businesses.

Before joining Grassi, Igor was a partner in the Construction Practice at a Connecticut-based public accounting firm. He also spent 10 years at a global accounting and advisory firm, providing tax services to middle-market companies in the Construction, Manufacturing & Distribution, Real Estate, and Professional Services industries.

Igor is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He volunteers as a board member and the chair of the Finance Committee of MARC Community Resources, a nonprofit organization.

Igor earned his master’s degree in Taxation from Bentley University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
