Jamie Herlihy, SHRM-CP Human Resources Manager

Jamie Herlihy is a Manager in the Human Resources Consulting practice at Grassi. Jamie works with clients in the healthcare, accounting, construction, education, entertainment, nonprofit, real estate and technology industries. She has over 10 years of experience supporting these diverse workforces in the areas of employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, recruitment and benefits and compensation.

Jamie specializes in assisting clients with the review of their human resource management processes and practices to ensure regulatory compliance and effective support of the business initiatives of the company. Jamie also supports companies with payroll processes ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations. As part of Grassi’s Patient Care Ombudsman services, Jamie also serves as a monitor for healthcare organizations that are in the process of restructuring. She ensures there is no disruption in staffing or people management that would negatively impact quality of care throughout the organizational transition.

Prior to joining Grassi, Jamie worked in HR roles within the cybersecurity industry and higher education sector.

Jamie is very active within Grassi, leading the charge in creating two Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) for the firm, the Remote Employee Resource Group and Working Parents Network Group. She also regularly participates in Grassi’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council and Grassi Gives Back, the firm’s volunteer program.

Jamie earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and business administration from Plymouth State University. She has been a SHRM-Certified Professional since 2018 and earned a Graduate Certificate with a concentration in management in 2020.
